About Jasmin

Having completed her training at babtac_awardsBraintree College in Essex, Jasmin Harding began her career in 2004 working in a salon in the village of Wickham Bishops named Cinderellas. She used the opportunity to learn as she worked and advance her skills and says that she owes a lot to her previous boss Donna, who encouraged her to grow, expand on her knowledge and set her standards very high – all of which enabled her to become the therapist she is today.

Jasmin moved to Lincolnshire to live with her fiancé, and found herself managing two salons. After taking on the second, she decided to start up her own business, using the log cabin in her garden to start providing beauty treatments. She describes it as ‘the best thing I have ever done’.

Today her business – The Spa Cabin – is thriving, not least because Jasmin works hard to provide an outstanding service to her clientèle.

‘My clients love the peaceful environment and ease of parking, as well as enjoying my one to one treatments,’ she explains. ‘I do Christmas shopping events every year to say “thank you” to my regular clients, including mince pies and mulled wine, with Jane Iredale make-up reps and Environ professionals to do demonstrations and offer advice.

‘Alongside this I have a marquee put up in the garden where locals can sell their crafts, such as candles, hand-made gifts and cakes: my clients love it!’
In 2015, Jasmin won Beauty Therapist of the Year at the BABTAC Awards. On winning the award she said: ‘I am so proud of the award, I feel I have achieved so much with my salon in four years and it’s so nice that all my clients have supported me, with them all saying it’s no surprise to them that I won as they all think I’m the best, which is lovely. I’m very grateful as I couldn’t be here without my fantastic clients.

‘I hope to expand the cabin in the future to provide a waiting area and maybe extra rooms, as well as looking to take on more staff so I can offer The Spa Cabin experience to more clients in the future.

I have never been disappointed. My eyebrows are a million times better and nails last over three weeks and still on. Worth every penny. She is brilliant.
